English Lads. Offical review.

The entry page is a fun red white and blue and displays an English flag and at the center of it there are links to the most recent photo sets, the latest video and the ability to browse all the great looking guys alphabetically. One can also search by stats and there is a link to duos and groups. At the top of the page are links to 'search', 'videos', 'top lads', 'news letter', and 'forum' plus 'home', 'contact us', 'help' and - 'English Lads.tv' which I clicked on.

'English Lads.tv' links to a page offering high resolution versions of the videos on the site on a pay to view basis and ‘English Lads’ members are given a 50% credit on every purchase. This idea is apparently still undergoing development but is a good one.

There were 94200 pictures at the time of my visit and clicking on a link to one of the photosets took me to the models’ entry page and provided a short bio of the guys involved plus two pictures of the models. Clicking on the larger image takes you into the photo set and clicking on the thumbnail takes you to that model's profile where you get to know all about him. And last but not least on the page you get to vote on the photo set on a 1-5 star system.

I clicked on the big picture and was taken to a page of thumbnails which open to larger images when they're clicked upon.

Next I tried out the 'Latest Video' and was presented with a lot of info and alternatives. Info includes a bio of the guys and short summary of the video. There is also a link to the photo set and another chance to vote.

The alternatives provide for six download options, 4 are the medium size 512x272 in both QuickTime and Windows Media Player and a choice of edit, 16 min or full length. These 4 are compatible with pc's or Mac's. The 2 larger options, 756x428 are DRM protected so pc users with the latest WMP player will be fine. Mac users would need to be using the latest Intel based hardware to play these larger 2 video options, but can play the medium size ones on a standard Mac.

Clicking on the ‘Quicktime’, 'med res' 29 minutes button I got a message - Play/Stream Movie or Save/Download Movie and the option (left click on the option you want). The clip was good enough quality and streamed easily and obviously the hi-res version looked even better.

I finally clicked on the 'Top Lads' link and got taken to a page showing the rankings of the models on the site, their average score and the number of votes that they'd received.

The site is now updated three times a week, every Friday there’s a video, every Wednesday there’s a photo set and Sunday's alternate between a video and a photo set.

The site has exclusive content and 40% of the models are straight.

‘English Lads’, is obviously striving to be amongst the top sites and we highly recommend it .
